Alice M. WOOLEDGE

Obituary:  CLAYTON---Mrs. Alice M. Robbins, 95, of Steele's Point, a marina operator, widow of Joseph C. Robbins, died Sunday at Edward John Noble Hospital, Alexandria Bay, where she had been a patient a week.

   The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cummings Funeral Home, Clayton, with Rev. Robert Nay, pastor of the Clayton United Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Clayton Cemetery.

    Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

    Donations may be made in her name to the Clayton Volunteer Ambulance Fund or the Clayton United Methodist Church.

    She is survived by a son, Christopher, St. Petersburg, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. William (Phoebe) Daughen, LaFargeville, and Mrs. Laney Marie Botzaritch, Long Island; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren,
nieces, and nephews.  Two sons, John A., of Florida, and Raymond N., Trumansburg, died before her.

    Born Feb. 16, 1885, in Clayton a daughter of Addison and Sadie Wier Wooledge, she attended Clayton schools and married Joseph C. Robbins, July 19, 1904, at LaFargeville Methodist Parsonage with Rev. Clyde Gerhert officiating.

    Mr. Robbins, a former Great Lakes sailor and caretaker at many Thousand Islands estates died Dec. 6, 1955.

    Mrs. Robbins was employed by J.B.D. Edge on Round Island several years and operated a marina at Steele's Point.

    She was a member of the Paynter Senior Citizens, Clayton United Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge.
