Philander A. SPENCER

1  CMNT Served In Co. G, 186th NY Vols. In Civil War


Philander was in Petersburg, VA at the time of General Lee's surrender.

Philander served as a sergeant in the Civil War; he was in Co. G, 186th NY Infantry.  He enlisted 18 Aug. 1864, and was discharged 2 June 1865, serving 10 months.  He was a resident of Depauville.


William J. EASTON

William served in Co. G, 10th N.Y.H.A., participated in the battle of Cedar Creek and before Petersburg, and was honorably discharged.

William served as a Private in the Civil War; he was in Co. G, 10th NY Heavy Artillery.  He enlisted 20 July 1864, and was discharged 29 June 1865, serving 11 months, 8 days.  He had suffered a gunshot wound in the left leg and was a resident
of Depauville.
